Just in time for the warmer months (although we have no issues drinking Rosé throughout the year), This 2024 Rosé is crisp and thirst-quenching. The palate is driven by red fruit, offering a flinty power, while the structure remains fresh and refined, with a concentrated core. Made by Stéphane Vivier, this is comprised of 100% Pinot Noir and is totally satisfying.
Like in previous vintages, this 2024 Rosé comes from the blustery Petaluma Gap region of the Sonoma Coast, then aged and fermented in stainless steel. After a short contact with the Pinot Noir skin of 45 to 120 minutes, the juice is placed in a stainless-steel tank. The light salmon color is a result of this minimal contact with the skin retaining freshness and vibrancy in the wine. This is the saignée method, most used in Burgundy.
