This Sauvignon Blanc seems to get better and better. With a nose of mango skin, white peach, and a touch of white flower, tart green apple and classic grapefruit notes round out the palate. A mix of 50% stainless steel, 40% oak, and 10% ceramic amphorae, as well as the addition of 7% Semillon lend texture to the wine, sourced from 11 vineyard sites across Napa and Sonoma for a complex fruit profile. 

Hailed as the “aristocracy of American Sauvignon Blanc,” Spottswoode has been crafting this revered wine since 1984. Made from their own estate grapes and a handful of iconic family-owned vineyards, vineyard manager and winemaker, Aron Weinkauf, typically performed over 100 small fermentations in a combination of French oak, stainless steel barrels, clay amphora, and ceramic and concrete cuvees to create this sublime and age-worthy wine. A testament to their belief in a beautifully structured and sophisticated style, this White continues to raise the bar for Sauvignon Blanc in the New World.
