Like in previous vintages, this 2019 is blended with nearly equal proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and it offers great drinkability immediately upon opening. “This full-bodied effort broods behind scents of camphor, black cherries, raspberries, and dark chocolate. Densely concentrated, almost fudge or cake-like, it does have just enough freshness to keep it on the rails and bring it home into a long, remarkably lively finish.” All the fruit comes from their 13-acre vineyard in Rutherford and was produced, vinified, and aged in the same way as the Estate Red.
