Included in this 3-Bottle Set with Special Pricing is 1-bottle each of the following:
Scribe Rosé of Pinot Noir 2024
This is our swoon Rosé. We are relatively convinced a bottle of Scribe rosé has never once been recorked after it was popped. You’ll simply find the bottom of the bottle far before that crosses your mind. The winery harvests specific blocks of Pinot Noir destined for rosé. It is fermented in stainless steel to preserve vibrancy and freshness. The final wine is bursting with white peach, sea spray and watermelon rind.
Scribe Estate Pinot Noir 2023
The Estate Pinot Noir is planted at the bottom of the slope, where the soil is rich with volcanic mineral and the morning fog lingers, producing a freshness and structure in the wine. After night picking, the fruit is fermented partially whole-cluster with native yeast and then aged in a combination of neutral oak and concrete. The nose is laden with rosehip and boysenberry, leading to a palate that offers a core of bright, focused black cherry with a persistent, but well-integrated tannin. This is Pinot that tows a beautiful tension between a rich structure and fresh, vibrant energy.
Scribe Winery ‘Atlas Peak’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
Adam and Anthony located this site atop Atlas Peak prior to founding their winery. They were convinced they needed to produce Cabernet from this special vineyard. Chilly mornings contrast with warm sunny afternoons. West-facing vineyards can sometimes encounter scorching sun in the late afternoon, but the gentle breezes off the San Pablo Bay mitigate this heat beautifully, allowing the fruit to develop ripeness while still maintaining vibrancy. Rocky red volcanic soil provides excellent drainage forcing the roots deeper into the soil, providing complexity to the resulting wines. The Cabernet is fermented entirely with native yeast and followed by aging in used barrel and subsequent bottling without fining or filtration. On the nose, the wine offers fresh plum skin, violet, and sage. The fruit turns slightly juicier on the palate, while still retaining the savory herb notes.
About Scribe:
One of the hottest wineries to hit the Sonoma scene in recent decades, Scribe is led by two fourth-generation farmers—brothers Andrew and Adam Mariani—and was founded in 2007. The property’s roots, however, trace back to 1858, when a German pioneer first planted a vineyard on the site. During Prohibition, it became a bootlegging outpost and later transitioned into a turkey farm before being revived by the Mariani brothers.
Today, Scribe focuses on sustainable farming and producing wines that deliver freshness, structure, and a touch of hedonistic pleasure. They avoid aggressive use of new oak, instead embracing a minimalist approach that allows the terroir to shine. These wines have been sommelier favorites for over a decade, and we’re excited to share this singular project with you.
