La Rioja Alta ‘Viña Arana’ Gran Reserva Rioja 2016
Formed in 1890 as a partnership of growers pressing for elevating quality in the region, the bodega explored techniques traditional to Bordeaux, believing they could bring exceptional results in Rioja. Basing quality in the vineyards, only organic farming methods are employed. In the modern era, La Rioja Alta has spared no expense in pursuit of quality, adopting refrigerated trucks for grape transport and a state-of-the-art optical sorter. In the process, it has become a critic favorite, garnering high scores vintage after vintage. The 2016 is comprised of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano and aged for 3 years in house-made American oak barrels. A dark macerated fruit core is complemented by floral notes, green tobacco, and mineral notes.

La Rioja Alta ‘904 Selección Especial’ Gran Reserva Rioja 2015
Regarded as the flagship wine of the bodega, the ‘Selección Especial’ is a blend of the finest lots, consisting of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. After nearly perfect vintage conditions and fermentation, this 2015 Rioja Reserva was aged for 4.5 years in custom-made American oak and bottled in February 2020. Its beautiful, velvety texture shines through, complemented by notes of dried orange, savory mushroom, sandalwood, and pomegranate.

Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia ‘Macán Clasico’ Rioja 2018
Born from a collaboration between two iconic names—Benjamin de Rothschild of Bordeaux and Vega Sicilia of Spain—Macán Clásico offers a refined and elegant take on Rioja. The 2018 vintage is crafted entirely from Tempranillo, sourced from sandy clay soils and vines averaging 31 years of age. A cool, graceful vintage, paired with aging in both new and seasoned oak, results in a vibrant, mineral-driven wine layered with red fruit and delicate floral aromas.
