This Russian River Valley Chardonnay from Pont Neuf is our favorite and ranks among the best California Chardonnays available today. The 2022 vintage, crafted from the renowned Montrachet clone, is distinguished by the unique powdery white Goldridge soil of the vineyard, just five miles from the Pacific Ocean. It offers captivating aromas of white peaches, Meyer lemon, and citrus blossoms, complemented by a smooth and luxurious mouthfeel. A delicate minerality weaves through the wine, providing structure and ensuring its potential to age gracefully for at least a decade. Only 75 cases were produced.
