Included in this 3-Bottle Set with Special Pricing is one bottle each of the following:
Poe 'Van Der Kamp Vineyard' Sonoma Mountain Pinot Noir 2022
Van der Kamp Vineyard is one of Sonoma Mountain’s historic grand cru sites, originally planted in the 1950s and perched at over 1,400 feet in elevation. Farmed organically in volcanic soils, the vineyard is known for producing Pinot Noir of depth, structure, and longevity. Its remote location and limited production have made wines from this site increasingly sought-after among collectors. The 2022 Van der Kamp Pinot Noir is a compelling expression of this iconic vineyard and Samantha Sheehan’s dedication to preserving and showcasing California’s most historic sites.
Vivier 'Gap's Crown Vineyard' Pinot Noir 2022
The 2022 Vivier Gap’s Crown Pinot Noir is a masterclass in finesse. Its elegant structure, compelling acidity, and display of red fruit and spice—all at a standout price—make it a true gem. Gap’s Crown Vineyard, on the western slope of Sonoma Mountain at 980–1,180 feet, is cooled by Petaluma Gap breezes. Its rocky soils, long growing season, and maritime influence make it one of Stéphane’s favorite sites. Whether you're enjoying it now or laying it down to mature, this vintage offers a rare combination of world-class terroir, Burgundy sensibility, and California craftsmanship. Stéphane may be less known, but his pedigree is undeniable: at HdV Winery—founded by Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Larry Hyde of Hyde Vineyards—he oversaw winemaking, which is where I first met him and Aubert.
Sphaerics 'Superset' Pinot Noir 2024
As the debut vintage of Pinot Noir from Sphaerics, ‘superset’ is a vibrant, high-definition expression of Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir from winemaker Laura Jones, who previously spent five years as assistant winemaker at Aubert. Sourced from a site nestled in the foothills of the northern Russian River Valley, this bottling is defined by its energy and aromatic complexity, benefiting from the cooling influence of the Pacific to retain a bright, red-fruited core. The 2024 leads with notes of wild strawberry, pomegranate, and a touch of savory spice. On the palate, it is light-footed yet persistent, with fine-grained tannins and perfectly balanced acidity. It is a wine of great complexity and dimension, capturing the wild, maritime spirit of the Sonoma Coast in a beautifully polished frame.
