2021 Perfect Season represents a best barrel selection from our estate vineyard. It’s richly layered, full and inky dark with chocolate, red and black fruits, and holiday baking spices that follow through on the palate. The mouthfeel is opulent with silky tannins. The finish is lingering and dominated by fruit. 2021 Perfect Season is crafted from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon clone 4 and clone 337 grapes grown at our estate in Knights Valley. The 2021 vintage was hand-harvested on September 16 and fermented in tank and wood barrels. it was barrel-aged for 22 months in 100% new french oak. The 2021 vintage of Perfect Season Cabernet Sauvignon was crafted by winemakers Philippe Melka, Maayan Koschitzky, and the Atelier Melka team from grapes farmed by viticulturist Jim Barbour.
