In 1987, he decided to broaden his horizons and started a winery in America – known today as Gruet Winery in New Mexico. In 1993, entrusting Gruet Winery in the care of two of his children, he returned to Bethon France to continue building Champagne Paul Laurent. Today, this family-owned and operated business is committed to keeping the family’s passion at the heart of their work.
