The newly released flagship Cabernet Sauvignon from Memento Mori comes from six heritage vineyards winemaker Sam Kaplan exclusively sources from- Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Beckstoffer Las Piedras, Memento Mori Estate Vineyard, Vine Hill Ranch, Weitz Vineyard, and Oakville Ranch. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 22 months in 100% new French Oak. Exotic aromas of crushed blackberry, Mirabelle plum, and crème de cassis unfold alongside notes of mocha, gravel, and spice. The palate is rich and layered with dark berries, black tea, and subtle mineral tones, with hints of truffle and warm earth emerging over time. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity bring balance and structure, beautifully capturing the character of the vintage.
