The McGah family vineyard, just north of Oakville near the Silverado Trail, is renowned for its distinctive terroir. As a long-standing grower vineyard, it has produced 100-point wines from its premium Rutherford bench fruit, managed with expert care. Scarlett is the family’s own wine label, and this Petit Verdot captivates with its deep purple hue, a signature of the variety. Aromas of dark cherry, dark chocolate, spring flowers, and the hallmark violet of Petit Verdot rise from the glass. The layered palate combines boldness with sensuality, featuring minerality and finely integrated tannins that lead to an elegant finish. Enjoy now with a short decant or age for further complexity.
