Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2021

LIWA Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2021 - K. Laz Wine Collection

This 2021 Sauvignon Blanc comes from a single vineyard in Dry Creek Valley. The vineyard is planted on raised riverbed soil with a row orientation facing east to west. The average age of the vines is 19 years old. Because of the maturity of the vines, this newest release offers aromas of lychee, tropical fruits, pink grapefruit pith, subtle honey, and fresh cut grass. The palate is light in weight with up front melon that gives way to tropical fruits. Liwa is the Miwok name for water, and these thirst-quenching wines are made by Jen Filipelli and Kirsti Harley alongside their husbands. A portion of the proceeds go to the Native American Rights Fund and 1% for the Planet Fund.
