Dominique Lafon applies the same meticulous approach to his personal label that made his name legendary at Domaine des Comtes Lafon. Sourced from Champgain, a Premier Cru site perched high on the slope in Puligny-Montrachet near the border of Blagny, this vineyard’s thin, limestone-rich soils consistently produce some of Puligny's most refined and floral expressions. The 2023 vintage balances high-elevation energy with an expressive core of fruit, opening with aromas of white peach, lemon oil, acacia blossom, and crushed stone. On the palate, notes of crisp orchard fruit and subtle toasted hazelnut are anchored by a distinct chalky minerality and bright natural acidity, leading into a long, focused, and saline finish.
