This 2018 Napa Valley Cabernet showcases just how talented winemaker Celia Welch is. Comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, “the purity of dark red and blue fruits provides an immediate sense of the complexity of this fully ripe Cabernet Sauvignon. Notes of raspberry jam and blackberry briars round out the initial impression. On the palate the wine is full, plush and round at entry, with the focused fruit aromas dominating the mid-palate.” This 6.5-acre vineyard tucked into the western hills of the Mayacamas in Yountville began with the 1999 vintage. Jim Barbour and his team planted the vineyard and Celia oversees winemaking. All the Keever family members are a part of the business and together, they’re a tight-knit group making great wine. 640 cases were produced.
