The 2020 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay was a huge hit throughout the country last year when we included it in offsite private tastings. We sold out quickly and suspect guests will react the same way with the new 2021 vintage. This is one gorgeous-drinking Chardonnay without your palate ever tiring from drinking it. It once again offers a striking balance of richness and refreshing acidity with a seamless finish. Think citrus, sea spray, quince when enjoying the wine. The blend comes from grower vineyards Lancel Creek, Silver Eagle, Volpert, and Frei Road Vineyards. Matt is a perfectionist when it comes to making Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. After eight years as winemaker at Marcassin, Matt now concentrates his efforts on Ferren and Arista, another great Pinot Noir and Chardonnay winery on Westside Road in Russian River Valley. 462 cases were produced.
