Eisele Vineyard is a revered site near Calistoga that has been farmed biodynamically since 2000 and is currently under the precision-led stewardship of Artemis Domaines (owners of Château Latour). Crafted by winemaker Hélène Mingot, the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of the floral, exotic Sauvignon Musqué and the linear, gravel-driven Sauvignon Blanc, sourced from the property’s eastern edge where the vines are protected from the intense afternoon sun. The 2024 vintage highlights the estate’s signature energy and racy mineral tension, opening with an enchanting bouquet of lemongrass, white peach, and orange blossom. On the palate, the wine possesses a remarkably deep and velvety texture—a result of twelve months of lees aging in stainless steel eggs and neutral oak—that balances vibrant citrus fruit with a persistent saline finish.
