Since 2016, Colgin has produced Jubilation, a cuvee of their three single vineyards by blending select barrels from their world-class sites into one uniquely complex, yet wholly representative wine. The goal of Jubilation has always been to expand the audience to whom Colgin wines can be presented, and to allow fine wine consumers the opportunity to enjoy a Colgin Cellars wine in a slightly more youthful time frame. The barrels that are meticulously selected by winemaker Allison Tauziet, to craft Jubilation, are given the same care as their single vineyard counterparts yet express a slightly softer tannin structure along with earlier drinking characteristics. The 2021 is “brimming with intense fruits and pure mineral notes of stone and graphite. Vivid aromas of black cherry, baking spices and savory herbs resonate on the nose. Sleek, yet silky tannins glide across the palate with a graceful feel. The succulence of the palate lingers with subtle flavors of cocoa and licorice.”
