This micro-production wine is an epic value—comprised of fruit from the Bryant Family Vineyard and David Abreu’s Madrona and Howell Mountain Vineyards. A classic blend of 69% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Cabernet Franc, and 20% Petit Verdot, the wine is aged in 65% new French oak. DB4 displays a distinct freshness, making it friendlier for enjoyment in its youth. At just 442 cases, DB4 receives the same meticulous care and attention as the estate’s other cuvées.

Bryant Estate, situated on Pritchard Hill overlooking Lake Hennessy, has been described by Antonio Galloni as “without question one of the most spectacular vineyards in Napa Valley.” Don Bryant purchased the property in 1986, and it was planted by renowned viticulturist David Abreu. Helen Turley crafted the wines during the estate’s first decade. Today, Bettina Bryant, Don’s wife, leads the estate and has championed the shift to biodynamic farming. Winemaking is overseen by KK Carothers, who brings extensive expertise from her experience in Australia, France, and as the former assistant winemaker at both Bryant and ADAMVS on Howell Mountain.
