While the Domaine is new, it is steeply rooted in history. Francis inherited his passion for wine and organic farming from his grandfather, who was well ahead of time with his environmentally friendly approach. Delphine, Francis’ daughter, now makes these stunning small production Champagnes. From one select parcel of vines, this wine is bone dry with zippy tartness, but still offers a voluptuousness to its red fruit quality. The Champagne is beautiful on its own, but also with enough depth to hold up to richer dishes. The term Brut Nature implies that there hasn’t been any additional sugar added, otherwise known as zero dosage, which is why this 2018 retains its purity of fruit and flavor.
