Under the guidance of winemaker Nigel Kinsman, viticulturist David Abreu and winemaking consultant Michel Rolland, the pedigree of this winery is unbeatable. This is the first release of Le Génie from Bella Oaks in west Rutherford and made from the younger Cabernet Sauvignon vines on the property with the addition of 10% Cabernet Franc from Abreu’s Cappella Vineyard and 10% Petit Verdot from the high-elevation Ecotone Vineyard. With seamless layers of mocha, baking spice and saddle notes, this 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is pure enjoyment. 552 cases were produced.
