Coming from Atlas Peak’s Stagecoach Vineyard once again, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc is an energetic wine that jumps out of the glass. “It’s aromatic with jasmine, wisteria, and warm honeycomb. Slightly saline and stoney, it’s got mountains of green apple and white peach. The citrus notes run from nose to palate with oranges and fresh squeezed lemons. Delicious, and easy to drink, this compelling wine is clean, fresh, and vibrant,” describes winemaker, Jennifer Williams. Stagecoach Vineyard ranges between 1,100 and 1,750 feet, making it the largest south-facing mountain vineyard in Napa Valley. Their mountain terrain is usually above the fog which gives them a longer ripening season, with the rockiest soils and minerality to create distinct aromas and flavors that can only be found in its unique terroir.
