With the purchase of 160 acres in the unnamed slopes east of St. Helena, the evolution and future of Thorevilos was realized in 2019. Staked with vines planted by David in 1992, this vintage marks the greatest of new beginnings. Expansion of the original 8 acres is nearly complete showcasing what is possible in these hidden hills. This current release, and subsequent vintages, are wines without boundaries, come with no apologies and embody the true character of Thorevilos. The oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vines supplied the framework for the final blend that was enhanced by the drive and wild nature of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The 2019 Thorevilos is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 19% Cabernet Franc, 17% Petit Verdot and 9% Merlot. 475 cases were produced.
