While their first vintage was in 2010, we have just discovered this newer wine project made by Thomas Rivers Brown. Founded by three partners from Kentucky, Post Parade refers to the moment when thoroughbred horses walk onto the racetrack, minutes before stepping into the starting gate. Comprised of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley, it is a single vineyard blend that was aged for 20 months in French oak. This 2016 Red "is a ripe, decadent 2016 that makes the most of the vintage. Tons of ripe black raspberries and cassis flow to a wine that has full-bodied richness, a sumptuous, exuberant texture, no sensation of weight or heaviness, and terrific purity. This wine is all Cabernet Sauvignon and was brought up in 90% new French oak. It’s a pleasure-bent beauty to enjoy over the coming 15-20 years." - 95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck. 510 cases were produced.
