Coming from the famed Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard on the west side of St. Helena, this 2014 is gorgeous and has been a showstopper in line-ups for private tastings we’ve hosted. Jennifer Williams continues to make these wines and her consistency with this special bottling shows every vintage. “Even more profound is the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard, which has wonderful blueberry liqueur notes intermixed with violets and wet rocks followed by a great intensity of flavor with the blue and black fruit spectrum represented impressively. The wine has a long finish of close to 50 seconds, while tannins are sweet and well-integrated as is the acidity and oak. This is great stuff and should continue to drink well for another 25 or more years.” – Wine Advocate
