This 33-acre site on Howell Mountain has 15 acres planted by David Abreu and his team and rests at 2000 feet elevation. Tucked into the forest, this estate vineyard brings incredible black fruit and a depth of secondary notes to the bottle. Winemaker Brad Grimes loves this vineyard because of its potential for aging yet also it's vibrancy that shows immediately in the glass. “The seamless 2015 Las Posadas Proprietary Red nearly redefines opulence, extravagance, and intensity in its haute couture style. A candidate for perfection, the wine has notes of fruitcake, licorice, black truffle, forest floor, spring flowers, and black fruits that literally soar from the glass and continue across the palate with a cascade of earthly delights.
