This newest vintage of Rewa Sauvignon Blanc was crafted from Sauvignon Blanc Clone 1 and Sauvignon Musque from Rewa Vineyard in the Coombsville AVA. It was hand harvested on September 23rd and September 25th and fermented and then aged in neutral oak and stainless barrels. "The lively and complex aromas of the 2018 vintage of Rewa Sauvignon Blanc include peach peel, nectarine, citrus, wild gooseberry, guava, green apple peel, kiwi and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is bright and lifted by notes of fresh pineapple and lemon curd combined with a stony minerality." Before Rewa was founded, it had already been planted to vines, but the previous owner was solely a vineyard grower, selling fruit to various producers. The property is comprised of 43 acres, with 30 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, a little Merlot, Malbec, and a block of Sauvignon Blanc solely for this bottling. Mike Wolf, one of the best viticulturists in Napa Valley, has been cultivating the vineyard since their inception. 352 cases were produced.
