You will be hard pressed to find a Cabernet made by Thomas Rivers Brown at this price point and quality. After tasting this new release with guests for a private tasting, it was immediately apparent that this wine has the signature touch of Thomas’s winemaking talent. It’s smooth, generous with fruit yet offers structure. For this 2016 Napa Valley Cabernet, Thomas used extremely limited irrigation to encourage vine stress and sourced from vineyards in St. Helena, Calistoga and Oak Knoll’s AVAs. In the glass, notes of violet, black currant, crushed rock and graham cracker crust blend together to offer a delicious wine that can be enjoyed now with a quick decant or for the next 5-6 years to come.
