We are really enjoying this 2016 Pinot Noir from Radio-Coteau as it is beginning to hit its stride. Eric Sussman is the winemaker/ vintner and has been making varietally pure, site-specific Pinot Noirs from both Anderson Valley and Sonoma Coast for over twelve years. Neblina (Spanish for fog) has been and continues to be one of our favorite bottling each vintage. It comes from their 42-acre estate vineyard that rests at 800 feet above sea level above Sonoma Coast’s town of Occidental. The 2016 La Neblina Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir offers red cherry and raspberry that jump out of the glass with balanced briary fruit and dark red berry notes. It is round and juicy and a great Pinot at its respective price.
