This 2016 Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir comes from John Sebastiano Vineyard and is one of the best Central Coast Pinots I’ve tasted in years. John Sebastiano is a newer vineyard on the eastern side of Sta. Rita Hills with a variety of micro-climates. The relatively windy location limits yields resulting in concentrated flavors. Winemaker/vintner Paul Lato used clones 115 and 667 to produce this Pinot Noir of great depth and character. On the palate, this Pinot Noir is voluptuous and dark with substantial weight and complexity.
