Recently tasted, this new offering from Sean Larkin is juicy, deeply concentrated in dark red fruit, and delicious. It also marks the first time he has bottled a single vineyard Grenache. Sean was able to source fruit from the famed Frediani Vineyard, located in Calistoga. Jim Frediani has been farming his family’s vineyard that spans the Silverado Trail in the northeast corner of Napa Valley. It is known for being like a museum of old vines and long-forgotten Napa Valley varieties. Smack dab in the middle of the valley floor, these vines sit in rocky gravel and bale clay loam soil and experience brutally hot days and chilly nights. This variance in temperature produces incredible lush, intense fruit. 60 cases were produced.
