The 2021 Space Age Rosé shows a stunningly brilliant pale salmon color and comes to us from Josh Phelps, owner of Grounded Wine Co. Vibrant aromas of strawberry, rose petal and cranberry are extremely fresh and carry onto the palate with a lingering, fragrant finish. The ethereal wine is a refreshing ode to the great rosés of Provence: light on its feet, perfectly balanced with ample body, modest alcohol, and a mouthwatering finish. Vintner Josh Phelps works with a small number of select growers in the Santa Barbara and Monterey regions to provide their Grenache fruit. With their help, they focus on well-established vineyard blocks that can provide the bright, exciting freshness and mouthfeel to produce this wine. A native of St. Helena, Josh grew up in a wine family with his father, Chris Phelps producing wine for some of the most revered wineries in Napa Valley including Dominus, Caymus, and Swanson Vineyards.
