Much effort has been put into this estate property in the last few years. Farming by Mike Wolf and winemaking by Andy Erickson, previously of Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle, have proven to be key factors in helping to elevate this 20-acre vineyard and winery to the next level. ‘Brothers Blend’ is a true collaboration between Ellman’s fraternal proprietors Neil and Lance Ellman. Each brother selected their favorite barrel from this exceptional vintage, and Andy blended them together to create this small batch bottling. 2021 is a blend of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon with 14% Merlot.

Last year, we visited this impressive Napa estate off Silverado Trail near Soda Canyon Road. Tucked into the trees, we even passed it on our first attempt to find it. With farming by Mike Wolf and winemaking by Andy Erickson (of Dalla Valle, Screaming Eagle, Staglin, Favia), this 20-acre vineyard has been elevated to the next level.
