After being sold out for the past few months, we’re excited to have one of our favorites back from Vertus—a village in the Côte des Blancs region of Champagne, France. Founded in 1927 by Maurice Doyard, the estate is now led by Yannick Doyard. The family’s plots, located in the renowned Côte des Blancs—known as the premier area for Chardonnay production—are meticulously maintained with low yields to concentrate the wines. Unusually for the region, the wines are vinified in barrel, adding complexity and depth.

Made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from a blend of 1er and Grand Cru vineyard sites, this wine spends an impressive 42 months aging in bottle. The result is a beautifully textured Champagne with notes of brioche and a distinctive minerality, creating a pleasing tension on the palate.
