Nestled in the western hills of Oakville’s famed To Kalon Vineyard, Detert has a rich history dating back to the late 1960s when its fruit was used in Mondavi’s Reserve program. In 2000, the next generation of the Detert family began crafting their own wines from this exceptional 18-acre site. Today, winemaker Tom Garrett and his family, alongside renowned viticulturist Mike Wolf, continue to unlock its full potential.

This 100% Cabernet Franc is powerful and full-bodied, with layers of cassis, blood orange, violets, and dark fruit. Rich and dense, it boasts refined tannins and a long, complex finish with notes of licorice, dried herbs, and bittersweet chocolate. An exceptional expression of this historic vineyard. 250 cases were produced.
