What separates the good winemakers from the great ones is obvious in vintages like 2017. Thomas Rivers Brown made outstanding wines which we continue to taste and enjoy like this single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. With incredible depth, juicy polished fruit and fine-grained tannin, the quality is immediately apparent from the first sip of this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Stags Leap District. "Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon comes charging out of the glass with cherry compote, baked plums, blueberry pie plus touches of underbrush. Full-bodied and concentrated, with a firm, chewy frame, it packs loads of baked black fruit into the mouth and has a lingering earthy finish." 150 cases were produced.
