This micro-production wine is still an incredible wine at its price point, hitting a lot higher than many in this price point. Predominately Cabernet with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, DB4 displays a distinct freshness, making it delicious and vibrant in its youth. Aged in French oak, 85% new and 15% neutral, this 2022 was aged for 22 months and immediately upon opening begins to impress. For DB4, the fruit comes from both Bryant’s estate vineyard on Pritchard Hill as well as fruit from Ecotone Vineyard. 528 cases were produced.
Bryant Estate stands as a Napa Valley icon, renowned for its excellence and dedication to quality. From its esteemed Pritchard Hill vineyard to its legacy of sought-after wines, it remains a benchmark of greatness. Now debuting its 30th vintage—2022—it continues to captivate collectors, proving that true excellence is a lasting legacy.
Bettina Bryant has been the driving force behind this evolution, honoring the foundation her late husband, Don, built while elevating Bryant Estate to new heights of consistency and quality—both in the vineyard and in the bottle. One of her most impactful decisions was bringing back former assistant winemaker KK Carothers, entrusting her with the independence and support to lead the winemaking team. Since the 2019 vintage, the wines have become even more precise, expressive, and a true reflection of this special corner of Napa Valley. Below are the new releases available today.
