This wine is awesome. We tasted this in mid-August when visiting the new owners of BRAND, Jim Bean and Christine O’Sullivan and totally loved this White that is comprised of all Italian varietals – Fiano, Ribolla Gialla, Arneis and Coda di Volpe. They have 1.5-acre block devoted to these varietals just in front of their Pritchard Hill winery on Long Ranch Road. This 2018 was fermented in different vessels to accentuate each varietal. It offers intricate aromas, lively flavors, and silky texture. It is a gorgeous White that continues to reveal nuance in the glass from the first pour to the last drop in the bottle. Philippe Melka has been overseeing this wine project from the beginning and their daytime winemaker Matt Johnson, previously of Dana Estates, is hitting his stride making the best vintages of BRAND yet.
